DID YOU HEAR? OMG YEAH!
The Asian American Student Union is hosting its annual Culture Show: RUMOR HAS IT!
DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 PM.
This year’s show will feature performances from our member organizations as well as an exciting Modern Dance.
And that’s not all! We also have a special performance from BAMBOOM DANCE CREW!
Join us as we follow the story of four friends, who went to high school together, experience the college life. Roxy and Tyler, who are freshmen, are eager and excited for new opportunities college has to offer. Jackie and Mark, who are sophomores, show them around, giving them a glimpse of the real Asian-American community at Virginia Tech: the cliques and the exclusivity.
Roxy runs into the most popular clique of them all, the Mean Girls: Gina, Daniella, and Andrea. While Roxy hangs out with them more and slowly becomes one of them, ditching the friends who have been there for her, Jackie and Mark must figure out how to bring the organizations together for the AASU Winter Ball, their biggest fundraiser of the semester.
Will the organizations and cliques find the strength to unite for a common goal? Or will AASU be forever divided?
Watch as we explore how friendships are broken and relationships are tested.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
DON’T FORGET TO SREAD THE WORD.
